Are pets allowed?
Our animal friends are not allowed on the property.
Is there a car park?
La maison dispose d’un emplacement fermé et sécurisé pouvant accueillir 4 véhicules.
Y-a-t-il une borne pour véhicule électrique?
Le gîte est équipé d’une borne universelle pour véhicules électriques d’une puissance de 11 KWE. Parfait pour recharger votre voiture la nuit. L’utilisation de la borne est comprise dans le prix de votre séjour, sans frais supplémentaire.
Is there a swimming pool?
Oui, le gîte et la maison en location possèdent une grande piscine (11 x 3,80 m) chauffée et sécurisée avec un volet roulant, avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le Moulin de Ventabren. La piscine est chauffée de fin Mars à début Novembre pour profiter des belles journées de printemps et d’automne. Voir la piscine
Are you still present?
When the gite is rented, we are right next door, as the gite is next to the house, so we are always available to share the best spots in the area, and always happy to share an aperitif.
When the house (including the gîte) is rented, we leave you the keys but we make sure that we organise a dream stay with a maximum of services, so that you can enjoy your stay.
The lodge
Where is the gite?
La Roucoulade, is at the foot of the village of Ventabrenlocated 20 minutes from the center ofAix-en-Provence, 30 minutes from Salon de Provence and 40 minutes from Marseille.
The first beautiful beaches are 45 minutes away.
Is it possible to add a fifth person?
Yes, up to 5 people can stay in the gîte, a cot can be provided and installed in one of the two bedrooms.
The sofa bed in the living room can also be folded out to accommodate an extra person, but this is less comfortable.
Do you serve breakfast?
No but don't panic, you are independent. In the kitchen, there is enough to prepare a gourmet breakfast: coffee, tea, chocolate, jams, honey ... :
Small luxury: there is even a small rattan lounge to take your breakfast in the sun!
Are there any other guests during your stay?
Non, c’est le luxe, vous avez l’exclusivité du lieu à partager avec notre petite famille Clémence, Guillaume, Gaspard
(12 ans) et Toscane (7 ans)
Do you need to bring back condiments?
There is everything to cook with, of course, local olive oil, vinegar, pepper, salt...
Do you have to bring your own towels and sheets?
No it's the vacations, the linen is provided.
Even the pool towels!
Do you speak English?
Yes English spoken.
The house
Can the gîte be rented to other people at the same time as the house?
No, when you rent the house, the rental of the gîte is included. So there is only you in the house, the gîte is included in the privatisation. So you have the exclusive use of the place.
Can we party at La Roucoulade?
La bastide est un lieu SLOW au coeur du village. La musique est interdite passée 23 H. C’est l’endroit rêvé pour se retrouver entre proches mais pas pour de grosse fiesta endiablée.
Where can you shop?
At Intermarché, 700 metres from the house.
At the Atelier du Primeur in Ventabren, which brings together a greengrocer, a butcher and a fishmonger.
"Au Potager", a grocery shop selling local products.
Can we make a fire in the fireplace?
With pleasure, there is even wood available.
Can we rent the house for an event?
Yes, "La Roucoulade" is perfect for small family or friendly events: birthdays, christenings, cousinhood parties...
For more than 15 people, and for a maximum of 40 people, it is not the same offer.

How to book an experience?
Clémence, the concierge at La Roucoulade, can centralise your request when you make your reservation, or you can contact the relevant partner directly.
Why isn't there a price for entertainment?
Because like everything else, it all depends on the experience chosen, the demand, the duration, and the number of people...
How to pay for the activity?
Here there is no commission on the services.
You can pay your activity directly to the beneficiary.
Are activities included in the price of the stay?
No, each experience can be customised with an adapted price to be added, in supplement.
However, the organisation of the animations is included in the price of the stay.
